East Preston, West Sussex, UK
Situated on the coast of West Sussex in the Arun district, East Preston is a village often popular as a retirement area. The village is sometimes called Angmering-on-sea.
East Preston is well known for its local tennis club, the Angmering-on-sea Lawn Tennis Club which is very popular with locals and with people in the surrounding areas.
There is relatively easy access to the surrounding areas via the train station in Angmering and a bus route that goes though the village. The nearest town is Rustington, which is a short walk away just over 1.5 miles to the west.
East Preston F.C. is a football club based in East Preston. It was originally formed in 1947 and were the founding members of the Sussex County Football League Division Three in 1983. The club folded in less than a decade but it was reformed, as the present Club in 1966 when it was elected to the Worthing League.

Angmering-on-Sea Lawn Tennis Club
Founded in 1962, Angmering-on-Sea Lawn Tennis Club now has over 400 members of all ages who enjoy various levels of tennis ranging from the relaxed social games of the hosted sessions on Tuesday and Thursday mornings to the intense team matches at the top of the Sussex tennis league. As well as six hosted sessions, members are free to schedule their own playing time. There is a full Junior program and a 'coached' membership for those who have played little or no tennis at all. The club's seven courts are open from 8am to 10pm and there are four coaches available to help develop your game. The clubhouse offers good facilities with Changing rooms, a Bar, Lounge, Kitchen, Games Room, and Sports shop. There are a number of social events during the year for both Adults and Junior members.
